Together at last!

This Friday was my last day teaching. It was bittersweet! Saying goodbye to all my sweet students and amazing co-workers was harder than I thought. It has been a good year. The weekend was spent unpacking but I'm excited to say that we are all finished and finally settling in. All I really have left is to hang the pictures on the walls. I'll work on that this afternoon.
Mark has been busy finishing up things at our other house. Our tenants, and friends, move in this Saturday. It will be nice when all this extra work is completed. It will be ever nicer when we are on the beach in the Caribbean.

Speaking of, Mark, Caleb, and I will be on an extended vacation starting in just 2 weeks. It will begin with a drive down to FL where Caleb will spend some time with Grammie and Grampie while Mark and I finally take our honeymoon st Sandals, Royal Bahamian (http://www.sandals.com/main/bahamian/ba-home.cfm). After 7 nights and 8 days there we head back to FL and spend Mark's birthday with his family - what fun! We will then drive back to Charleston for a night (and do some laundry). The next day Mark will fly out to Cali for a business trip and Caleb and I will start our drive to NY. On our way we will be stopping at Uncle TJ and Aunt Robyn's house to a short visit. Once we arrive in NY, I will fly out to Napa Valley to meet Mark for a few days. Caleb may join me or stay with Meme and Pappy. His choice. :-) After a visit to my hard working husband, I'm flying back to Long Island to spend a week with family and friends - Yey! Mark will fly back to NY then we will head up to 1000 islands NY on the border of Canada for his family reunion. After lots of fun events and family time we will finally head back to SC again. Whew! I pray it is a time the Lord uses to bind us together as a family.

This weekend Mark's Dad and Step mom come for a Father's Day visit so I'm off to do some more preparations. I'm looking forward to some downtime as we celebrate the Dads in our lives.
